We went to the Maker Faire in Rome during October. We ran the Mint Tek Circuits workshop for adults and children to make flashing badges from printed circuit boards, using SMD technology, solder paster, a toaster oven and a Reflowster device.
With attendance in the thousands, our stall was constantly busy, so much so that we ran out of supplies before expected.
From kids to adults, we had a blast meeting everyone and teaching the fundamentals of SMD technology soldering without the use of a soldering iron. We hope that we can repeat our success at this event next year.
