Terms & Conditions

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

These Terms apply primarily to business Customers. Where the Customer is a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws apply and prevail over these Terms.
All intellectual property rights in Customer‑supplied designs remain with the Customer. No ownership of such rights is transferred to Mint Tek Circuits by virtue of these Terms.

1. GENERAL TERMS

1.1 Mint Tek Circuits offers printed circuit board production and prototype assembly services according to the terms and conditions stipulated in this document.

1.2 Customer agrees to order under these conditions and through the Mint Tek Circuits website. By placing an order the Customer confirms that he/she accepts these conditions.

1.3 There will be no contract of any kind between you and Mint Tek Circuits unless Mint Tek Circuits actually dispatch the products to you. Your order (including payment) is an offer to buy from Mint Tek Circuits, so nothing Mint Tek Circuits do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until Mint Tek Circuits actually send the product to you. At any point up until then, Mint Tek Circuits may decide not to send the products to you and to give you a full refund. At the moment the goods are dispatched (and not before), a contract will be made between you and Mint Tek Circuits.

1.4 If an order cannot be manufactured in the time period requested, Mint Tek Circuits will let you know and offer either a full refund or a partial refund to reflect the increased lead time.

1.5 In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is displayed on the checkout page or communicated to you by email or other written quotation, and this is identified before acceptance of your order, Mint Tek Circuits is not obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price. While Mint Tek Circuits takes reasonable care to ensure that all prices provided via its website, calculators, or quotations are accurate, genuine errors may occasionally occur. If a pricing error is identified, Mint Tek Circuits will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If you choose to cancel and payment has already been made, a full refund will be issued.

1.6 Lead time for printed circuit board orders commences once all engineering queries have been fully resolved to the mutual satisfaction of both parties. Mint Tek Circuits will communicate any required clarifications to the Customer using the email address provided by the Customer.

2. PRICE

2.1 The price shown in the web-form on placing the order will be binding. Mint Tek Circuits reserves the right to change the price or cancel the order if the files submitted does not comply with the data entered in the order input screen.

2.2 Mint Tek Circuits VAT Number: 3284186KH.
Mint Tek Circuits clearly show you the price you have to pay for its products. If, by mistake, Mint Tek Circuits have under-priced a product, Mint Tek Circuits will not have to deliver that product to you at the stated price, provided that Mint Tek Circuits tell you before posting the product. You can then decide if you still want the product.

2.3 Incoterms outside of the EU: DAP – Delivery At Place.
The buyer is responsible for import clearance and any applicable local taxes or import duties.

3. DELIVERY

3.1 Mint Tek Circuits is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping providers, provided Mint Tek Circuits have dispatched goods within the agreed lead time.

3.2 Delivery charges vary depending on destination, shipment method, size, weight, and urgency of the order. The applicable delivery charge will be confirmed at the time of order or quotation and added to the total price before dispatch.

4. GUARANTEE & COMPLAINTS

4.1 All designs are checked by CAM engineers prior to manufacture. These checks are limited to industry‑standard manufacturability and consistency checks and do not relieve the Customer of responsibility for supplying complete, accurate, and correct design data. Mint Tek Circuits’ liability is limited to the proper performance of these industry‑standard checks.
4.2 The Customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and notify Mint Tek Circuits in writing of any visible defects, damage, shortages, or incorrect items within 14 days of delivery.
4.3 Claims relating to latent manufacturing defects must be notified in writing within a reasonable period after the defect becomes apparent. Mint Tek Circuits will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the affected goods.

4.4 Returned goods must be shipped at the Customer’s cost unless the return is due to Mint Tek Circuits’ error or defective manufacturing, in which case reasonable return shipping costs will be reimbursed.

4.5 No claims will be accepted for defects arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect data supplied by the Customer, misuse, modification, or use outside the agreed specifications.

4.6 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including applicable consumer protection rights where the Customer is a consumer.

5. TRANSFER OF PROPERTY

5.1 Transfer of property occurs when the goods have been delivered and payment in full has been received.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY

6.1 Mint Tek Circuits and the Customer will keep confidential all information they receive about the other party which is not in the public domain. Each party agrees that their obligation to confidentiality will persist even if this contract is terminated.

7. PAYMENT

7.1 Invoices are payable on placing an order, unless other payment conditions have been agreed on.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mint Tek Circuits’ total liability arising out of or in connection with any order or these Terms shall be limited to the price paid for the relevant goods or services.

8.2 Mint Tek Circuits shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of use.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

9.1 Mint Tek Circuits shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, supply chain disruptions, strikes, transport failures, pandemics, or governmental actions.
